Background of the Harmonic Control Project for Electric Vehicle Equipment at the Beijing Olympic Games Electric Bus Company: The Electric Bus Company of Beijing Public Transport Holdings (Group) Co., Ltd. is located on Beichen Road in Chaoyang District. A new electric vehicle charging station has been established, with a newly installed power equipment capacity of 2903 kW (including chargers, elevators, water pumps, etc.) and optical equipment of 100 kW (including air conditioning, lighting, etc.), resulting in a total capacity of 3003 kVA. Project Background:
Beijing Public Transport Holding (Group) Co., Ltd. Tram Passenger Transport Company is located on Beichen Road in Chaoyang District. A new Olympic electric vehicle charging station has been built, with a newly installed power equipment capacity of 2903kW (chargers, elevators, pumps, etc.), and optical equipment of 100kW (air conditioning, lighting, etc.), totaling a capacity of 3003kVA. The main harmonic equipment is the charger, with each unit rated at 9kW, totaling 210 units, evenly distributed across two circuits. The charger converts AC power to DC power, and its harmonic characteristic is 6-pulse. Due to the presence of a rectification component (diode rectification), the charger will inject harmonic current into the grid, causing serious harmonic pollution and safety hazards to the system.
Control Plan:
Since all equipment has not yet been installed, the selection of filters can only be based on estimated values. According to calculations, the harmonic content under each transformer is about 330A, so two 400A active power filters are selected.
