The static reactive power generator connects a self-commutated bridge circuit through a reactor or directly in parallel to the power grid, adjusting the phase and amplitude of the output voltage on the AC side of the bridge circuit, or directly controlling the AC side current, so that the circuit absorbs or emits the required reactive power, achieving the goal of dynamic reactive power compensation.

Adding compensation devices is an effective measure to improve power supply conditions and increase the utilization rate of electric energy.
