A comprehensive management plan for the free fall device at Guangzhou Chimelong Paradise is proposed, which includes the on-site design of a low-voltage intelligent hybrid filtering device TSVGGD (mainly consisting of active filtering modules and intelligent filtering compensation modules produced by LiDAR Electric). Project Background
Chimelong Paradise is located on Yingbin Road, Panyu, Guangzhou, covering an area of over 2000 acres, with nearly 70 amusement facilities. The park has introduced equipment from globally leading amusement equipment companies from Switzerland, the Netherlands, Germany, Italy, and the United States, including: "The King of Roller Coasters" Vertical Roller Coaster, the Guinness World Record-holding Ten Ring Roller Coaster, the industry design gold award-winning Motorcycle Roller Coaster, Super Swing, and the only U-shaped slide in the Eastern Hemisphere, among other world-class peak amusement projects.
Electricity Overview (Entertainment Venue)
Guangzhou Chimelong Paradise currently has 1 No. 16 transformer with a rated capacity of 1600KVA, its main loads are free-fall equipment and other entertainment devices. The free-fall equipment is driven by two 800A inverters, each controlling a 235KW DC motor. During the operation of the free-fall, the reactive power demand is large, which lowers the system voltage, and the inverter generates significant 5th and 7th harmonic current and voltage, causing other entertainment devices to fail to operate normally. This affects normal operations, and there is an urgent need to solve this problem to ensure normal electricity usage.

Effect Analysis of Low Voltage Intelligent Hybrid Filter Device
Through the Low Voltage Intelligent Hybrid Filter Device (Dynamic Filtering Compensation Device) TSVGGD, the system power factor increased from around 0.31 to above 0.95, the average system operating current decreased from 987A to 498A, and the 5th current harmonic distortion content decreased from 155A to 24A, solving the user's power quality issues and saving over 10% on electricity costs.
