Each overhead crane has a rated power of 100kW, and each three-phase welding machine has a rated power of 40kVA. During the welding process with multiple welding machines, when 3 overhead cranes start simultaneously, the large power equipment of the overhead cranes generates a significant amount of reactive power, with the reactive current being about 5-10 times the full load current of the equipment, causing a voltage drop in the workshop distribution system. The increase in reactive current and the temporary voltage drop lead to the total switch of the workshop distribution cabinet tripping due to overcurrent, putting the 20-ton frame lifted by the overhead crane in a suspended state, posing a safety hazard to on-site personnel and causing production losses.
