Typical Case of Harmonic Control in Water Treatment Plant (Nanjing Pukou Water Treatment Plant)\nProject Background: A certain water treatment plant operates its intake pump motor using a high-power variable frequency drive. Due to the high-power diode rectification and high-power thyristor inversion within the variable frequency drive, high-order current harmonics are generated in the input and output circuits, which interfere with the power supply system, loads, and other nearby electrical equipment, affecting the normal operation of metering instruments.\nControl Plan: After on-site testing and analysis, it was determined that using one of our 100A active power filters could effectively suppress the harmonics, allowing the metering instruments to function normally.\nControl Effect: After the control measures were implemented, the harmonics were effectively suppressed.
